Rooted in Nature, Made by Hand

I'm Sarah — maker, nature-lover, and the hands behind The Crafty Pig. I create with the materials I'm most drawn to: found bark, moss, wood, and the organic textures of the natural world. My work is meant to bring a little of the outdoors inside. Small, handmade pieces with a woodland soul.

I'm especially fond of mushrooms, as a motif, a muse, and (at least once) an entire Renaissance-fair costume. That blend of the earthy and the playful runs through everything I make.

Outside the studio I'm a mom and a veterinary technician, so making has always been my way to slow down and create something lasting. After years of crafting just for myself, I'm bringing my work to craft shows for the very first time this year — and building The Crafty Pig into something I can share with you.
